I have a two-part kit I purchased from Shockwave Technologies that you can use to convert a factory pistol-grip-only Mossberg 500 to a non-NFA 14" barrel "firearm" like the 590 Shockwave regularly available. The grip just bolts on like a regular stock, and then the lug captures the end of the magazine tube after you've cut the barrel down to 14". If you didn't purchase the 500 new it's recommended to email Mossberg with the serial number to verify that it left the factory with a pistol-grip-only configuration. The Lug is unused, I mounted the grip for one range trip and then removed it. Includes instructions, and letters from the ATF verifying that this is legal, provided the steps are followed correctly. I purchased this and never got around to finding the right host firearm, ended up with a factory 590 Shockwave the other day, so I really don't need this kit anymore. I paid $60, asking $40 OBO. Will trade for 9mm, 7.62x39, or Green Tip 5.56 ammo.
