This knife IS legal in Alaska. More about this knife below: This Ultratech has a black coated Elmax stainless steel Tanto blade with a plain edge. The 6061-T6 aluminum handle is black anodized with bead blast finished pocket clip, glass breaker, and stainless steel hardware. This model has the raised tri-wing screws on the handle. The Microtech Ultratech fires in and out automatically via the sliding firing button on the knife's right side. The action on these is exceptional and we think the Ultratech series represents the best out-the-front bang for the buck.
