I have a 1953 $10 silver certificate star note. These are rare, particularly in good condition. It would make a great addition to any serious collectors stock. Of course if you are willing to buy such an item you probably already know it's value. These retail for around $1500-circulated-(this would be priced to move in auctions) depending on condition. Mine is circulated, though it's in nearly uncirculated condition. No rips, no tears, only two very light folds where it had been in some ones wallet many years ago(shown in picture), still quite crisp, and the coloration is wonderful. Ths was handed down in my family, we are now big collectors of currency. Unfortunately due to financial difficulties I have to try to find a new home for the shinning star of my collection. I'm asking $800 for it (which is significantly less than you will make if you have time to sell it in a more appropriate manner). I will absolutely entertain offers. If I were you I would be asking. "why sell it for less than it's potential?" the answer is time. I don't have time to do auctions ect. If it doesn't go in the next couple days I wont be selling it. If interested contact. I look forward to hearing from you! Silver certificate star note- $800 obo 1976 Bicentenial complete coin set in case, mint condition, silver dollar, half dollar, quarter, dime, and nickle-make an offer. I have $1 certificates, $2 bill, $5 silver certificate, silver dollars(various years), and a few other older coins- if interested feel free to inquire about dates, condition, prices ect.
