I have been out of the industry for 4 years and am finally letting my hat go. Hat is in good shape with new wing style exhaust and a new medium neck dam. It hasn't been wet in awhile, so it needs a new soft kit and inspection, all of which should be done annually anyway. I am aware of Kirby Morgan's new recommendations, but I am firm at 3000.
