Our family added another addition so we do not have as much time to spend caring for our buck and does. Our buck (Iggy a year old now) and does ( Mama 4 years old and Leah close to 2 years) have spent most of their time socialized with chickens and our dogs; Iggy is skittish but not aggressive towards humans. All three goats free range in our unfenced yard and we have not had them venture far from the barn where they sleep and eat; they do not cross the street, they are happy to just hang out and graze. Mama had a last kidding of 5 in February and Leah kidded 2 in January (her first birth) so the genes are excellent. Mama is still in light milk producing a pint or 2 a day (will produce up to 2 quarts when first in milk) and Leah has been dried up for the season since she is not as good of a producer as Mama yet. 1000 for all, including 6 bales of hay, and vitamins. This is a screaming deal for a beginer goat farmer as I paid more than twice that getting started. Can separate buck but will not sell does apart. Leah is Mama's daughter and has been with her from birth, Iggy has no relation to either does. Profits go toward keeping the family farm alive and fed. Thanks for looking!
