Ronin is an 8 yr old Standardbred/Paint cross, gaited gelding. He is black with 4 white feet, a blaze face and the sparkliest blue eyes. He was rescued from the Yakima Indian reservation in Washington state. He has been under saddle for 10 months, but still occasionally spooks. He was green when we brought him up to Alaska. He has the sweetest temperament and is very eager to learn and please the right person. Ronin needs an experienced rider with natural horsemanship experience. I have been consistently training him for the last 8 months. He has trust issues until he gets to know you. He is definitely not a child's or beginner's horse. Ronin needs to bond with one or two persons who will be patient in continuing his education.
