HELP- Marshmallow's Neuter surgery has been cancelled due to COVID-19 while vets. are unable to perform these types of procedures in an effort to preserve PPE.

Hello everyone. Most of you probably remember me. I raised the 9 orphaned bunnies after their mom passed away 10 days after they were born. I was able to find amazing homes for everyone except for this little guy, Marshmallow. He is an extremely loving, 6-month-old male. He was adopted two months ago by a couple that ended up being dishonest about their living situation. They did NOT disclose that they already had two, unsprayed, female rabbits, and multiple other animals in a single bedroom apartment.

This couple recently called us stating that they did not want him anymore as they could not afford him, and informed us that they were going to dump him outside. I immediately went to rescue Marshmallow. I scheduled him to get neutered and began my search for his forever home. This surgery was scheduled for Tuesday, but has been cancelled due to COVID-19. Does anyone have any suggestions or a warm garage that could home him until things get better, and vets are able to perform surgeries again? Or is anyone interested in adopting Marshmallow permanently? I will pay for his neuter surgery once allowed.

The biggest TEMPORARY setback is that Marshmallow learned to spray after being around female rabbits. While this presents the need for additional cleanup, I find it important that everyone knows that spraying is a normal behavior for a rabbit who has NOT been neutered. Once he is able to have this minor surgery, he will likely stop spraying, and will certainly make a great addition to any family. He has been handled since he was 10 days old, so he loves affection.

He was 100% litter box trained when he was originally adopted, and still uses his litter box partially. I have a friend watching him until Tuesday (March 24, 2020), but after that, I have nowhere for him to go. I do not want to bring him to the shelter, and I cant keep him because of my rental. He is an indoor rabbit, and Im desperate to find him either a temporary home for now, or a permanent forever home that will love him as much as we do. He loves to be played with, and is super affectionate and interactive. I have food for him which I can supply to a temporary home if needed.

Please call or text Shellea/Anthony at: 360-951-8894 if you are able to help Marshmallow.
