Have a 88 s15 gmc jimmy utility (2 door) for parts or fix. I was told it sounded like the drive plate is broken, I parked it before I ruined anything as it's really really loud. Upon shuffling it around the property we found it doesn't engage in reverse, so that may have been the sound, don't know, don't much care either. It's located around 15 mi chena hot springs rd. 2.8 V6 leaks oil like a seive, but cold started for me last winter at -30 below ( dumb coworkers moving plugs, grrr) could be easier fix I'm just not gonna. Has a 700r4 tranny in it. Good michelin all terrain tires, only had 100 miles on them before I put them on this truck last fall, there goes a 500 set of tires, 235/75r15. the interior matches the age, lots of character lol, most hinges to interior compartments are broke but stay in place when closed. doors are fun, as in no keys, all the locks have been replaced at some point before I got it a year ago. can probably get one for the drivers door if really needed. haven't found one that works for the passenger door. no ignition key, previous owner broke key off in ignition so you just turn the switch to start( I've robbed the battery and a few other small parts so doesn't currently start with just a switch throw) rear hatch and tailgate are a screwdriver job to open, but do work. spare is on the truck to protect spare rim, it's wrong size and flat lol. With the right parts and mechanic it could be a fun little truck again, but being sold for parts as is, will need to be towed, clean title in hand. we may be able to work out a bargain price if you don't need the tires except to move it initially, if I get the michelins back (in same condition with or without the rims, I don't need those lol), you can have the rest of it for $200 obo.
