For sale: a unique, almost-retro trailer with only 3 owners over 17 years. Turns heads on the road and gets curious looks at gas stations. Compact, tough, lockable, hard sided teardrop which is spacious inside but fits into the smallest of places. 11’ long, 5’ wide, heavy duty axle, newish tires, front storage box (which locks). Galley in back (also locks) with countertop, shelving, kitchen drawer, battery, overhead light.
Double sized bed inside sleeps 2 adults (and a kid or dog cozily). Has shelving, storage cabinets, a 12v outlet and another overhead light. Doors on each side feature sliding windows with screens for ventilation (without mosquitoes) and there’s a hatch on the roof (also screened) which opens and closes from inside.
Insulated; with the windows closed and a person and pup inside, it’s very comfortable in cool weather. Built well with dozens of cross continent trips over 17 years; has dings and bruises and stains (none affecting its function). Airtight while parked but long drives in heavy rain see some water accumulation at the bottom of the doors. It’s too heavy to hand push due to old school materials, but it tows so easily you’ll forget it’s behind you.
Price reflects great quality x fair condition, and lets you try a tiny teardrop without spending a lot of money (new ones range from $12K - $40K).
