Selling this 2001 BMW X5. Bought this car wanting to fix up for my son but decided it was more work then I could put into it.
It has a lot of potential if you know what you are doing. It has a reconstructed title do to right fender and hood damage.
Long story short this vehicle was broken into and semi-vandalized.
Since owning it the last few months I have:
1. Replaced the water pump
2. Replaced the thermostat
3. Put in new coolent pipes
4. Replaced rear privacy glass
Known issues:
1. Heater/AC won't turn on. Assuming it's the blower motor resister
2. Needs new tags (exp end of 2019)
3. Needs radiator/coolent flushed. I believe there's air bubbles in the system
4. Needs driver's door window
5. Needs passanger headlight (broken by thiefs)
6. Door panel clips need to be replaced
Runs and drives (so so)
Has great winter tires
Decent interior
Sun roof
