Selling my 2002 Silverado. I've owned this truck since August 2013 and have had Zero issues out of it while I have had it. I don't really have to sell this truck because the military will ship it for free but I'm just ready to get back into a car when I leave Alaska soon. This truck was cared for and given all regular services. Oil was changed every 3000 miles, replaced with new battery in 2013, new spark plubs, transmission, coolant and diff fluid was recently changed, replaced oil pump and sender unit on last oil changed during last oil change. I have receipts from all recent maintenance work performed. I'll include a no B.S list of the good and bad below. I am not in position where I need to sell this truck so I will not haggle or accept lowball offers, and NO TRADES. The good : ) : - Performed all mandatory and recommended factory maintenance since buying truck, zero issues and recently had additional preventive maintenance performed - Auto start - XD series wheels and 4 inch lift - Leather seats/Power Seats, Heated Seats, Sunroof..this truck had every available option during 2002 - Have new fuel filter ready to replace old, no issues were with current but I wanted to replace the fuel filter and oil pump/ sender unit soon as I read on silverado forums this is good preventive maintenance at this mileage The Bad : ( - This Winter I pulled the back seat door (driver side) handle to fast and broke a latch in the handle assembly. I was quoted 40 dollars for the part to replace the handle. Door can still be opened from inside ( this is the rear portion of the drive side to access the back seat NOT the driver side front door) - Small tear in leather seat - Sensor in coolant reservoir repeatedly reads as low coolant. Had this checked numerous times and was told it's the sensor giving false readings. Researched this and found this is a common issue with these trucks but no real issues arise from it. Occasionally this light will flash and throw a service engine light and then goes back off. I've had the truck checked several times for any leaks and none were found. I'm willing to let anyone interested drive or inspect this truck, hope I can find a good home for this truck before I leave. Thanks for looking.
