Ladies 14kt Yellow Gold Mother's Ring. Hello! I am selling a piece of family Jewelry that was passed down from my Grandmother. I am selling it to help pay for baby items for my first child. The piece of Jewelry is a 14kt. yellow gold and gold nugget Mothers Ring, which I have taken pictures of below. I had the Mothers Ring appraised at Alaska Mint on June 25th, 2013 by Christopher Robuck, who is a graduate Gemologist. The ring was appraised for $2,900.00. Below is some of the information provided by the appraisal documentation given to me by Chris, a copy of which will be given to the buyer: "This is to certify that we are engaged in the jewelry business, appraising diamonds, watches, jewelry, coins, and precious stones of all description. We herewith certify that we have this day carefully examined the following listed and described article(s): One ladies 14kt. yellow gold (Tested, not stamped) and gold nugget mothers ring, Weight 3.36 dwt. The top measures approximately 17.80mm x 13.50mm. The shank measures approximately 1.41mm at the top and 1.72mm at the bottom. Featuring one round brilliant diamond of approximately .32ct. Measuring approximately 4.45mm x 4.46mm x 2.50mm. Clarity VVS2 Color G Set in four white gold prongs. Also featuring four round brilliant diamonds with a total weight of approximately .12ct. Measuring approximately'2.00mm each. Clarity VS2 Color G-H And five single cut diamonds with a total weight of approximately .10ct Each colored stone measures from approximately 2.30mm to 2.45mm each. All colored stones are set in four prong white gold heads that have been gold plated yellow. Ring has inner sizing knobs." I am asking 75% of the appraisal value for the ring, which will be $2175.00 I will cash or a cashiers check for payment, but this will be done at a bank where it can be verified that you have the funds (I do not wish to be scammed, as this is a very expensive item). I will also print up a bill of sale for both of us listing the item, my name, a place for yours, and the agreed amount. This is a very nice ring and I do hope it makes the person who buys it happy. I am trying to do this the safest way possible for both myself and the buyer.
