To help raise funds I am departing with this 1986 King Arthur Grandfather Clock bought new by us, only one owner. #1161-850 AS Full size at 21"wide, 12.5" deep and 78" tall. Eight day, cable driven movement with triple chime. Plays Westminster, Wittington or St Michael. Famous Franz Hermle, W. German clock mechanism or movement (the internal works that runs the clock), that has beautiful filagree etched in the brass plate covering the gears. Constructed from solid dark oak. Beautiful clock face with seconds dial and a moon phase section at the top that moves as the moon does. Has four different chimes including a silent setting. Beautiful brass pendulum and chaindriven weights as well as a winder key and door lock key. It needs cleaned and weights rebalanced to run properly. We havent run it for several years because it needs this maintenance to keep accurate time and not wear on the intricate gears and such. When it is taken apart and moved, this maintenance would need to be done anyway for the longevity of the clock and for it to function properly. It is in really good shape without chips, scratches or marks in the glass or exterior wood. The interior mechanism is in excellent shape, really clean looking, and works, but still needs the maintenance cleaning to properly function. King Arthur clock company is no longer in business making this clock a valued collector item. Call Scott.
