Hand-crafted 5-finger tall pantry box made of bent cherry (body) and quilted-grain makore wood lid in excellent condition. Five fingers secured in place with copper tacks. Quilted-grain makore wood lid looks three-dimensional when seen at its billowy best! Originally used to store dry goods (salt, baking powder, dry herbs, etc.) in pantry. Measures 10" long X 6 1/4" wide X 5 1/2" high. Built by Jim Berta of New England states; date of origin unknown. Buyer responsible for shipping costs.
