So, here’s the deal I talked to Superior Hardwoods, they said they would charge almost $200 EACH for 5/4 red cedar, 10 foot long, 10” wide….
I’ve got 2 that size (they’re more like 12” wide at the bottom and 8” wide at the top but you get the idea, you average it out…)
And then that smaller one is like a 1x6 and a lot shorter
I would be happy to get $300 for both of the big boards…
And they were Rough cut when I bought them, I just hit them with the Planer a couple days ago and they are smooth as glass now and smelling like aromatic cedar should…. Ready for your cedar lined closet project or clothes chests or whatever you want to make with them
