I have five healthy hens (Rhode Island Reds and Plymouth Rocks), just over 2 years old, that I am looking to rehome as I am downsizing my flock and transitioning to Ameraucanas. They are active birds and appear healthy with high egg production, but their egg quality has not met my household's preferences, and with feed costs and limited space I cannot justify keeping more hens than my family needs. I would rather see them go to another home than process them for meat. I would prefer to rehome them as a group. Located near Big Lake/Houston. Please bring suitable transport.
