i have some newly hatched Cemani the baby’s are mostly hatched all black with occasionally a bird with a clear nail or leakage on one toe. it’s perfectly normal for some chicks to be born with leakage even from pure cemani not all birds hatch, completely black. It Does not mean the birds are not pure.. my birds came from a reputable breeder in the lower 48. Some people believe that if birds don’t come out true black every time they hatch they’re not purebred that is not true..
