We have a beautiful selection of mixed laying breeds, (including Black Australorp, Welsummer, White Langshan, etc.) Again, these are not purebred birds, but a mix of layers. From proven, productive laying hen mothers and beautiful, peaceful roosters. We frequently have 100% fertilization rates. Gorgeous combinations of colors. All very good temperaments, healthy, happy, quality birds with no pecking order issues. We have several age group batches. Any birds that are under 6 months old will be sold as "straight run", meaning they have not been sexed and could turn out to be a hen or rooster. $25 each. We will deliver to Palmer. For those who are interested in purebred birds, we are breeding several purebred lines at this time and will be offering them to the public in the coming months. We will be announcing the start of purebred sales on our farm website when that time comes. Feel free to text or call for more information.
Additionally, we also build chicken coops if you are in need of one to start your flock with. We are currently booked out a bit, but feel free to ask about it if you are interested, and we can arrange to get you on our wait list for a complete starter kit, including a beautiful coop, chickens, feeder, waterer, and food to get you started. We love helping others establish a healthy flock of chickens for fresh eggs and meat, we are very committed and passionate about independant food sustainability, especially here in Alaska.
