The 2017 kidding season is over, and now is your last chance for the year to purchase a doe kid from Cottonwood Creek Farm. We have five doe kids left, ranging from 7 to 8 months old. Prices start at $450, which is less than the cost of feeding a kid to that age from birth! All are ADGA registered with papers ready to be signed over to their new owners. They are approaching breeding age & weight, and can be bred in late winter for spring/summer babies of their own. Stud service to one of our bucks can be added into the deal under certain conditions. This is a perfect opportunity to add some superlative new genetics to your herd (with bloodlines including Tempo Aquila, Redwood Hills, Sunshine, and Mamm-Key), without paying the high cost of shipping a kid from the Lower 48. Our adult does have all earned their Advanced Registry dairy stars (signifying above-average milk production over a year's lactation), and these daughters can be expected to follow suit. All this and good looks too -- our goats consistently manage to turn heads in the show ring with great conformation highlighted by striking markings, as you can see in the pics below. (Individual pics are from July, group pic taken Oct. 10.) Our entire herd is confirmed negative annually for CAE, CL, and Johne's, with testing results available for inspection, along with several years of milk production, show, and Linear Appraisal records. Email for a list of pedigrees, or to arrange a visit to see them in person.
