New Home Sought for Older Gent..
Owner left without him. She said he's supposed to be a Chow / Icelandic Sheepdog mix. "Tuscan" is free to a good home.
Neutered, between 8-9yrs old, house broken, good with cats, dogs, and tolerant of kids. I'd recommend older children, just because he's getting older. I have no idea as to if / when shots were given.
His biggest 2 flaws are that he's a runner, so if he escapes, he's in the wind. However, I believe with proper training, he'd be good. (Previous owner only walked him to go potty twice a day. No other exercise or training. Hence his rather, "portly" condition.)
Second flaw....he has separation anxiety when he first moves in. Does not do well with wire crates, but does much better with the Veri-Kennel kind. Once he's settled, he's much better.
I honestly believe he just needs a person that'll pay attention to him & give him plenty of exercise. key: ftgh
