Sitka is a 10 month old, full mal. Very sweet and loving dog. However, I am expecting and he doesn't realize his size. Sitka still believes he is a 20lb dog that can jump on your lap at any time. We are just worried that he could unintentionally hurt myself or the child, just by being a big ol' excited puppy. It's also harder for me to keep up with him as I get further along in my pregnancy.
Rehoming him is no fault of his own, and it's a very difficult decision for my growing family. He's great with other dogs, adults, and kids. Sitka has never been around cats, although I believe he would be fine, taking into consideration his attitude/actions around other animals.
Sitka is extremely intelligent, but can be stubborn at times. Very Malamute like. He knows basic commands, plus a few more (sit, lie down, come, paw, high five, & speak).
He is NOT neutered, but is however up to date on all shots. We are asking a small rehoming fee as well to ensure he goes to a great home, that will give him all the love and attention he very well deserves.
