Maci-Black Mouth Cur
We are active looking to re-home Maci a pure bred Black Mouth Cur who will be 3 on June 13th. She is current on her immunizations, spayed and knows all basic commands. She is house, kennel and boundary collar trained. (boundary collar not included) She is a intelligent dog that is loyal to her family but is increasingly showing very territorial/protective qualities that isn’t compatible with our family having friends and visitors over frequently. Although she has been exposed to children her whole life I feel that she ideally she would be a wonderful companion re-homed to an adult household that has a fenced yard or large area to be on a boundary collar that have very little visitor/friend traffic, as this is where her instinctual protective behavior lies. She’s a great guard dog. She has been ok with a few friends dogs during visits in the past, not sure how she would do with another live in dog as we have never had one but she dislikes our elderly cat.
