1975 Tanzer 22 Sailboat in fantastic condition. "Kiwi" New Tohatsu Sail Pro 6 outboard, very low hours, extended shaft and high thrust prop designed for pushing a sailboat, only uses 1/3 a gallon per hour at hull speed. Decent mainsail, 2 genoa's (one 175% dacron drifter) and 2 working jibs. Symmetrical and Asymmetrical Spinnaker set ups. Clean interior, sleeps 4 easily. Force 10 diesel heater, small solar system that runs the electronics, outboard also has a 5 amp alternator for additional electricity generation (although its never needed). Dry cabin, no leaks, very easy to keep clean and maintain. The boat has won races at the William H. Seward Yacht Club. Is an extremely capable little boat, ideal for someone looking to get on the water easily or learn to sail. Does great in heavy winds and choppy water, extremely forgiving boat. It's currently in the Seward harbor, slip fee is extremely affordable for a boat it's size. Has gone on a few extended long distance cruises and performed well. If interested the boat is ready to race competitively. Tanzer 22's were built as one design race boats and have a large fleet in Seattle and the Great Lakes, large online community with extensive knowledge of the boat and wonderful advice. I absolutely adore this boat and am only selling because I have the opportunity to pick up a bigger sailboat and my girlfriend won't allow me to own more than one boat.
