Have a 2004 Honda Civic for sale. Runs and drives has an automatic transmission 211k miles. Had a check engine light come on the other day driving home so I took it to get looked at. The code is p0730 it’s for the transmission says it could be for low fluid, dirty fluid, bad solenoid or mechanical failure. Shop suggests getting the transmission flushed I had them replace the oil but don’t feel like paying for a full flush. Transmission fluid was very dirty but didn’t seem to have any metal shavings in it. I suggest towing the car home unless you live close to me when the check engine light came on car started “popping out of gear” so it wouldn’t move or anything.
