Good running 1999 Subaru Legacy. Excellent to convert to modern version of VW Baka Bug. Easy and inexpensive to convert over to raised cheap dependable off road machine while still road able and legal. Recently drove it round trip to Seward, but had fingers crossed whole way. Engine good, no oil leak, no oil smoke, but does use some oil between changes. Everything works except odometer is intermittent and driver’s window is sketchy. Rear hatch window broken. Tires have another season. Suspension is used up. Cosmetic condition is scratched, making it best suited for cheap conversion to “Baja Bug.” $100 rebate if you convert to Baja Subaru!
