G. Edward Griffin Lecture About the FED
by Mike Baker
Our Constitution grants Congress the exclusive the power to "coin money" and "regulate the value thereof." But in 1913, Congress transferred that power to the Federal Reserve. With the Fed as its steward, the dollar's purchasing power has fallen to what a couple of pennies would of bought in 1913. The Fed was responsible for the stock market bubble that bought on the Great Crash of 1929, the Great Depression that followed, and the real estate and stock market bubbles that nearly broke the back of our economy in 2008. We must wrestle control of our nation's money from the clutches of the too-big-to-jail, and return it to Congress (to the People), where it belongs.
