Let me make something clear. There is no one monolithic (single) Coronavirus. There are, in fact, many different types of Coronaviruses that are known to infect human beings, the most common of which is the Common Cold. And, unless you live your life in a medical clean room, or you're wearing a PAPR Suit like they do in a Virology Lab, your body is being infected with all sorts of viruses and bacteria ("antigens") right now, even if you're wearing the best surgical mask and gloves money can buy and obsessively washing your hands 12 times a day with hand sanitizer.
You are being exposed and infected with viruses all the time as you go about your daily life. Even if you're obsessively wiping your house down with bleach, hoping that will shield you from viruses, it won't. Viruses are everywhere. In fact, on average, every cubic meter of air that you breathe contains 10³⁰ virus particles (that's the number ten with thirty zeros after it), and every cubic meter of soil contains 10³¹ virus particles. That's a lot of viruses, folks, and they're not going anywhere.
Don't panic, but it's extremely likely that you have already been exposed to lots of deadly viruses, and that you are carrying them around in your body right now, just unaware of that fact.
To prove my point, I point you to a peer-reviewed scientific study published at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) that's entitled
The blood DNA virome in 8,000 humans. This study was performed on 8,240 people who had no absolutely no history of infectious disease. The blood of these people was thoroughly screened in a laboratory, and what the researchers found was that 42% of the study's participants had as many as 94 different (potentially deadly) viruses in their bodies, including, but not limited to human DNA viruses, proviruses, RNA viruses, herpesviruses, anelloviruses, papillomaviruses, three polyomaviruses, adenovirus, HIV, HTLV, HPV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, parvovirus B19, and influenza virus and many many more. Yet, none of these people had ever became sick from any of these antigens, nor will they ever, because their healthy immune systems had long ago prevented that from ever happening, just like it's supposed to.
Everything that you touch is also covered with all sorts of potentially dangerous viruses. You simply can't escape exposure to viruses. In fact, a substantial portion of your body's microbiome (about 20% of your body's total mass) consists of nothing but viruses and live bacterial colonies, and these antigens
contribute to your overall health and wellness in many important ways. In fact, viruses are your friend, not your enemy.
Regular exposure to viruses helps our body's immune system develop, and that makes you healthier and more resistant to disease. The reason you don't become sick from any of these viruses that you're exposed to, many of which are quite deadly, is because God, or Evolutionary Biology, whichever you prefer, provided you with this wonderful thing called an "Immune System," something which is being strengthened all the time, precisely because you are being exposed to these new antigens.
That's why many experts say you should let your kids play in the dirt with other kids regularly. Why? Because doing so exposes them to new bacteria and viruses which
strengthens their immune system, and prevents them from becoming sickly.
The same goes for adults. You should do a little gardening or go camping every once in a while, and shake hands with other folks regularly. If you don't allow yourself to become exposed to a wide variety of antigens, you will inevitably become sick and die. Just like the muscles of your body, your immune system must also be exercised regularly in order to keep it strong and working properly.
