Our estimates are based off of a fairly simple and straight-forward formula, which is as follows:
For standard, non-roof services a $10 flat fee to cover travel (for those in Anchorage), plus $45 per man hour. This is assuming there are no other costs such as a dump run, or special product you may want used that we have to purchase out-of-pocket. We almost always work in a 2-man team, so this can be easily calculated with 10 + (45 2 H) where H is the number of hours worked. So, for example, if a job takes the 2 of us 1 hour, the total cost would be $100 even. A 3 hour job with 2 men would be $280. Luckily for our customers, we dont charge any minimum (so if we only work for 12 minutes, you only pay for 12 minutes! (12 minutes being $28)). We are also very fast and efficient (as our online reviews attest to). The pricing listed above covers all non-roof labor, all gas/oil used, and other overhead costs. It does not cover other out-of-pocket expenses such as dump runs (which we charge only if we have a truckload or more to remove), fertilizer, herbicide, or other products. We also offer a small discount (5%) for payments made in cash, as well as an additional discount for leaving reviews online (FB & Google)!

Wintertime roof services a $20 flat fee to cover travel (for those in Anchorage), plus $55 per man hour for a single-story home with a roof pitch of 0 to 20 degrees. $5 is added to the hourly cost for each story, and every 10 degrees of pitch past 20. The maximum we will ever charge for any roof is $75 per man hour (which would be a 2/3 story home with a very steep pitch. We are licensed and insured, so no need to stress in that regard! We almost always work in a 2-man team sp, for example, if a job on a two-story home with a shallow pitch takes the 2 of us 1 hour, the total cost would be $140. A 3 hour job on a roof of the same height and pitch with 2 men would be $380. Luckily for our customers, we dont charge any minimum (so if we only work for 12 minutes, you only pay for 12 minutes! (12 minutes on a two-story roof with a shallow pitch being $44) ). We are also very fast and efficient (as our online reviews attest to). The pricing listed above covers all wintertime roof labor, all gas/oil used, and other overhead costs.
