Genuine Marlin manufactured in 2007 which pre-dates the junk that Remington produced after the buy out. The serial number validates year of production which is also when I bought it. Classic lines to the stock, 26' octagon barrel, only shot off the bench so no dings. I keep buying Marlins so this one goes to a new home.
