Commercial Mauser 98 chambered in 30-06. This is a more desirable "C ring" action. The heavy military style trigger has been replaced with a Timney Featherweight Deluxe with factory 3 lb setting. The old furniture has been replaced with a Hogue rubber overmolded one that is impervious to inclement weather and stays grippy even when wet. All blued metal has been coated with Renaissance wax polish to prevent rusting even in constant rain. The barrel is 22" long, staying within your ATV wheel base if front mounted for transport, and avoiding smacking your rifle against trees, which is common with 24" or longer barrels. Weight is 7 lbs as pictured. Controlled round feeding. Iron auxiliary sights. Bluing rates 99% respectively. Great hunting rifle that doesn't need babied.
