Doggy Adventures is hiring a reliable, active, and dog-loving individual to join our team! This is an outdoor position year-round, so applicants must enjoy being outside in all types of Alaska weather, including rain, snow, and cold temperatures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 60-minute dog walks and 30-minute drop-in visits.
- Safely handle dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
- Follow individual care instructions and company safety procedures.
- Provide detailed report cards and photos after visits.
- Communicate with management and clients.
Requirements:
-Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
- Smartphone with data.
- Comfortable handling large, energetic, anxious, or reactive dogs.
-Physically able to walk several hours a day.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Previous dog-handling experience preferred.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 10 AM–2 PM, with opportunities for additional hours if desired.
