Palmer Elks Lodge #1842 is looking for a dependable and motivated Line Cook to join our team!
Location: 2600 N. Barry's Resort Drive, Wasilla, AK
Pay: DOE
If you enjoy cooking, working with a great team, and serving your community, we'd love to hear from you! Our Lodge is a welcoming, community-focused organization that hosts weekly Friday Family Dinners, special events, and occasional catered functions for our members.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing and cooking menu items
Assisting with food prep for dinners and special events
Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
Assisting with inventory and stocking supplies
Working efficiently during busy service periods
Providing a great dining experience alongside our staff and volunteers
Qualifications:
Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
Ability to follow recipes and kitchen procedures
Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work evenings and weekends
Strong time management and attention to detail
Current Food Handler Certification required
