What We're Looking For:
We are seeking skilled Carpenters, Framing Carpenters, and Trim Carpenters, as well as drywall finishers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Carpenter will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to construction, including installation, repair, and maintenance of building structures and fixtures. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality. Drivers License and Pre-employment Background Check required for position.
Experience:
- Previous experience in the restoration industry or remodeling field is preferred.
- Proven experience with carpentry tasks, including installation and repair.
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and tools.
- Experience with power tools and ability to operate them safely.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and techniques.
Responsibilities will include:
- Perform carpentry tasks such as building, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures, including cabinets, doors, windows, and flooring.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building codes.
- Install and repair drywall, plaster, and tile.
- Operate power tools, such as saws and drills, safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the installation of cabinets and other fixtures.
- Work on construction sites, ensuring a safe and clean environment for all personnel.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete construction projects.
- Participate in the restoration of buildings and other structures.
