Looking for my FUREVER home
1.5 years old purebred Miniature Dachshund
Hi my name is Moose. 🫎 or Moosey. He needs someone who will be patient in letting him warm up to them.
He’s very weary of strangers.
He’s had a hard time finding his forever home due to people thinking that he doesn’t like them, due to him initially being afraid.
If someone’s willing to let him take his time building trust, then he becomes the dog I know him to be.
Loves jumping right into the car for car rides and riding on your shoulders, and being your little neck warmer. He loves burrowing under blankets, or into your sweater, and cozying up as close as he can get.
He displayed that he is good with other dogs, big or small. He’s had minimal interaction with cats, but the couple times that he did he seemed to do well, was respectful / playful.

The original breeder is not able to take him back to answer that question.
