I am in need of finding a home, or homes, for my wife's dogs, Lana and Pam. She just passed away 2 weeks ago and I am unable to keep them due to my slope job and just not fair to them for me to be gone as much as I am. Please contact me if you, or someone you know, is interested in one or both as not needing/wanting to keep them together. Rehoming fee can be waived for right owner.
Both are house trained, good health, up to date on vaccines through VCA Alpine on Old Seward , and spayed. Both are good with other dogs and kids. Pam might be a little rough with very little ones as doesn't know her own strength. Both love the snow and being outdoors.
Lana. 7yo, about 100lb, half golden retriever/half rottweiler. Spayed. Very head strong and lovey. Loves curling up next to you on the couch and judging you while your cooking or doing yard work. Doesn't bark but definitely sighs, grunts, and makes noises to voice her displeasure of having to move from where she decided was the best place to lay down to help you (as in she's in the way lol). Sees herself as an alpha and will make sure you're up in the morning (once she's used to your schedule) and also will tell you when it's time for you to go to bed.
Pam is a 6yo brindle pitt bull mix. Spayed. Does take 1.5 tablets daily of omeprazole (Prilosec) for stomach acid. Not sure what mix but 60lbs of love. Not too bright lol but is very much a snuggle bug. She loves nothing more than to curl up on your lap and get pets. Loves her bed and spends the majority of her day there. Will send herself to bed at night at about 6:30/7pm lol. Only really barks when someone rings doorbell (couple good barks and stops once acknowledged) and when really, really excited (like going outside lol). She does require consistent training but does well with training treats.
