These are not 7.62X51 conversation rifles they were originally built in this caliber, using the strongest receiver steel of any Enfield rifle ever made, ishapore was a British military common wealth weapons factory and all rifles built there were subject to the same proof standards as any common wealth built rifle, bore is perfect, functions and fires perfectly.
