This is an original M1 Garand bayonet made in 1943 during WW2 by the American Fork and Hoe Company. Bayonet comes with its period correct scabbard. The locking mechanism on this bayonet is still functional. This bayonet is a standard 10 inch bayonet that was used by the vast majority of U.S. troops during WW2. The flaming bomb stamped on the scabbard is strong. The blade is maker marked "AFH" above the hilt as well as the standard ordinance flaming bomb and "US", all of which are strong and easily legible.
