You may not be aware, but Husqvarna is the 2nd oldest arms manufacturer in the world, second only to Beretta. Their military and civillian Mausers are considered some of the best ever made with their Swedish steel. This particular one is the lightweight model that utilizes their proprietary 1640 HVA action. It is a coveted early model that has the all steel bottom metal, not the later production rifles with the alloy ones. The barrel is 20", bluing rates 99%, iron sights, the barrel and action inletting has been glass bedded, the stock brass pinned for strength (overkill for a glass bedded stock), Warne Maxima all steel scope bases, and Jard trigger (If I remember correctly). All work to this rifle was professionally done by a competent gunsmith before I acquired it. Scope and rings are not part of the sale. This is a lightweight, highly maneuverable, quick shooting rifle that shoulders like a fine shotgun. Add this to your collection, make it a range gun, or get her into the bush for moose or bear. I have 2 of these rifles, but only need one...so she needs a new owner.
