3-Year-old Neutered Male Husky/German Shepard . Yogi is a 3-year-old neutered male Husky/German Shepard mix. He currently lives in the Palmer area and would make a great hiking and adventure buddy! He is house-trained and kennel-trained, though we have not kept him in a kennel since he has been with us (2 years). He is wonderful with children aged 6 and up and generally gets along well with most dogs he meets, but he would not do well with cats or other small pets. He is very quiet, only making noise when he is playing with other dogs or knows you have a treat. He previously lived in a home with three other dogs and children aged 7 and 15. He has a very mellow personality—we often call him "Prince Valium" because he sleeps just like Sid from Ice Age! While he is very laid-back, he loves his morning walks and enjoys running alongside a four-wheeler in the afternoon. He is super goofy, but he does have an occasional grumpy moment if his personal space is crowded; he may growl to request more room, though he has never been aggressive toward people or other dogs. Unfortunately we are not able to keep him entertained, he genuinely misses being around children and his canine friends. A home with a fenced yard or out in the country would be ideal for him. We would love for him to find a family that would give him the attention that he deserves and needs. We are asking for a $100 rehoming fee.
