This is Edwin, he is a ten month old purebred mini Dachshund, who loves to be near you and be the center of attention! When he's not playing, he's curled up under the covers in true Dachshund fashion. He goes along great with other small dogs, but doesn't seem to enjoy the presence of larger dogs which is why he is in search of a new home. We don't know how he is around cats or children. Edwin sits for his food, goes to his kennel on command, and has excellent manners! He has a very sweet, charming personality but tends to be more on the sensitive side and does get intimidated easily. While he is potty trained to go outside as well as being pad trained, he does have accidents in environments he isn't comfortable in and doesn't do well in his kennel for long periods of time (more than 3-4 hours). Edwin is in need of someone who is willing to be gentle, patient, and someone who is experienced with the breed. He is UTD on shots.
