Mom a pure Tennessee Brindle Tree cur/Dad a Boxer
Spayed, up to date on vaccines. This dog does not like strange humans but doesn't land a bite. She snaps bounces back and forth/bays. This is not a trait I disliked. Her mother and father are similar. She has never landed a bite.
She tolerates a stranger once introduced, or if pre taught to be calm then the handler engages calmly with the person. She does not like them entering a property or a space she regularly travels. To my view this is a fine trait, for what she is. She is stable temperament and avoidant of biting but wants to urge them out of the area. Walking her on a leash by people is manageable. She requires some direction. Which often time a dog handler doesn't give to the dog. She is in a foster home right now and against my advice they took her to their work place and allowed her free range. I advised if they did to leash her. She easily tolerates being tethered to a spot. She is crate trained also. She tried to bay a stranger out of the area. She did not and has not ever made contact with skin. It is a hard bay like behavior.

Had she been at the work place and leashed to a solid object that incident would not have occured. As she would have associated a smaller defensive area. I myself had brought her to work in Glennallen with many people passing through and no issue, but she was tethered away behind me. To observe not engage.

I was mushing malamutes living in Glennallen; long story short the situation became difficult to manage. I've moved to Anchorage and rentals in my price range are limited to 2 dogs majority of time. This dog being easier to rehome than the 2 malamutes I also have. This dog was house dog, and the dislike strangers bit never a trait I disliked but many people will.

This dog has bayed a black bear into a tree that wandered onto property. Bayed a fox off property. Bayed and located a porcupine and didn't bite. Her mother locates squirrels well. Both parents live with children. This dog has not. This dog met a few but largely untested with. Cats unsure but I don't think she'd bite them, but may try to bay them. Will include a high quality 2 inch collar and 30ft long line.

Dog is trained to live inside or on a outdoor Zipline with good dog house. Her paws are good in cold weather but her down layer minimal. Tolerates -30 though. Good rain wicking coat.
44lb, spayed female name Adventure. Age 2.3 years
