Billie is Fully trained- advanced. AKC temperament tested, and titled. Billie is seeking her life time home. This dog doesn’t pull on a leash and will happily heel next to you off. She has exceptional recall both on and off leash.
Great with kid, all dogs, and cats.
Billie obedience consists of.
Down, sit, stay, heel, kennel, load up, wait, leave it, come, Go (space), fetch, and she is very gentle natured and wants to be involved in whatever her people are doing. Billie would be an exceptional hiking dog as she can always be trusted, and she’s courageous, and adventurous.
Billie is farm dog certified, she does have some prey drive but can always be controlled under voice command. She’s been great with our goat, and will avoid are free roaming ducks if asked. We live with many cats, she has little to no interest in interacting with them. She is a retriever through through so she will happily leave into ponds and rivers to retrieve toys. She loves to carry her ball around in her mouth, and she will do it with her food bowl as well.
Billie has also been introduced to waterfall hunting.
Though she’s had a break for a few years.
She is a started - Senior level gun dog, so she can be taken out hunting and be trusted to retrieve and come back with no damage to the waterfall done by her.
I’d love Billie to go to a home where she will be active and her home is looking for a dog that can go with them on their adventures. Billie does not like being left alone- she is fine alone but she seems very sad left at our house.
I’m looking to find Billie a home that is just looking got their best friend forever. I am only retiring her due to no fault of her own.
