We take pride in the number of visitors we get to our site every day, because that's what it's all about, putting eyes in front of the classified ads. In fact, we are so proud of our Web site's statistics that we have always made them publicly-available for everyone see since day one. How many other classifieds sites publish their raw statistics? None that we know of.

When looking at our stats, please be aware that they could be even huger than they are, but we made a decision long ago to block most foreign countries from visiting our site. What this does is eliminate much of the problem you see at other sites where folks from Africa, Asia, and elsewhere are responding to your classified, pretending to be someone here in Alaska. Looking back now, we are glad we made that choice.

We don't block Canada though, because there's a great deal of cross-border trade between folks in Alaska and Canada.

When you post your ad, we will automatically send you an Ad Management E-mail, which contains a special link you can click on in order to edit your ad, upload photos, and delete your ad whenever you no longer need it.

Alaska's List strives to maintain a clean and well-organized Web site where Alaskans can buy and sell things online.

That's why there's real people working here (36 man/hours every day), moderating ads as they come in, deleting SPAM ads, perfecting titles, and making sure everything goes in the right category.
