By now everyone has seen crisscrossing streaks of white clouds trailing behind jet aircraft, stretching from horizon to horizon, eventually turning the sky into a murky haze. Our instincts tell us that these are not mere condensation trails from jet engines, and we'd be right. Condensation trails can only be produced by planes flying very high (where temps are below freezing) during the Summer months. The trails that produce these distinctive chemtrails are occurring at too low of an altitude for water vapor condensation to be a good explanation. Condensation trails quickly dissipate too. Whereas, chemtrails can linger in the air all day.
