The Climate Change Scam Exposed
by Mike Baker
The climate alarmists, with their shrill cries of impending doom, have peddled a provably false narrative: that carbon dioxide (CO₂), a trace gas in our atmosphere (a mere .042% of all gases), is the sinister driver of global temperature increases. This claim, rooted in leftist globalist ideology, is not just scientifically shaky--it is a deliberate fabrication designed to manipulate the public into surrendering its personal and national sovereignty to a technocratic elite. The evidence is clear: CO₂ is at historic lows, and its effect on climate is negligible. CO₂ follows temperature increases rather than cause them, and it is the "gas of life" that fuels thriving ecosystems. Plants, animals, and humans flourish most when CO₂ levels are between 500 and 1,500 parts per million (ppm), levels that are far greater than the 420 ppm we have now. For millions of years, Earth's climate has naturally cycled through warming and cooling periods, with past warm periods--known as climate "Optimums"--far exceeding today's modest warming, long before humans ever burned hydrocarbon fuels. We need more CO₂, not less in order to optimize life on this planet. So, let's dig into the facts, and dismantle this alarmist myth piece by piece, exposing their manipulative tactics, and show you the true benefits of CO₂ that they are so desperately trying to hide.

CO₂ at Historic Lows: A Starved Planet

Today's CO₂ concentration, at 426 ppm in 2025, is a mere whisper compared to Earth's historical levels. During the Cretaceous Period (145 to 66 million years ago), CO₂ averaged 600 to 1,000 ppm, peaking near 1,500 ppm.¹ Life did not just survive then--it thrived. Dinosaurs roamed, forests stretched across continents, and marine biodiversity exploded.² The Devonian Period (419 to 359 million years ago) saw similar CO₂ levels, with early forests like Archaeopteris towering 30 meters, supporting ecosystems that birthed the first terrestrial giants.³ Even during the Last Glacial Maximum (26,500 to 19,000 years ago), CO₂ dropped to 180-200 ppm, and life struggled--plants stunted, animals diminished.⁴ At 426 ppm, we are actually in a CO₂-starved era, far below the 1,000-1,500 ppm range where life historically flourished. Alarmists claim this low level is somehow a crisis, but history screams otherwise: we are suffocating life by keeping CO₂ so scarce. In fact, there's evidence that low CO₂ levels are causing plant species to disappear due to habitat loss and deforestation, which is caused, in part, by a lack of sufficient CO₂. In fact, the World Wildlife Fund estimates that 1,000 plant and animal species are now at risk of extinction due to deforestation alone.⁵ Meanwhile, global greening, which drives rapid forest growth, has increased plant growth by 12% from 1982 to 2020, thanks entirely to CO₂ fertilization, showing its life-giving power.⁶

Negligible Climate Impact: The CO₂ Boogeyman

The alarmist narrative hinges on the myth that mankind's CO₂ emissions are the primary driver of global warming, but its climate impact is negligible compared to natural forces that shape Earth's climate. A 2025 study challenges established models, showing that solar activity and ocean cycles play a larger role in temperature changes than previously thought.⁷ The IPCC claims a 1.1°C temperature rise since 1850 is due to CO₂ increasing from 280 ppm to 426 ppm, but this correlation ignores causation, and the fact that year marked the end of the Little Ice Age, so of course temperatures are going to rise afterward. In fact, CO₂'s greenhouse effect is logarithmic--meaning its warming impact diminishes as concentrations rise. A 2010 study notes that doubling CO₂ from 400 to 800 ppm adds only 0.5-1°C to global temperatures, far less than alarmist models predict.⁸ Meanwhile, solar variability, such as the Maunder Minimum (1645-1715), is what caused the Little Ice Age, with temperatures dropping 1-2°C--without any CO₂ influence.⁹ The alarmists' obsession with CO₂ ignores these natural drivers, inflating its role to scare the public into compliance.

Moreover, alarmists call CO₂ a "greenhouse gas" to suggest it traps heat like a greenhouse, but this framing is misleading. While CO₂ does contribute to the greenhouse effect, water vapor is the dominant player, accounting for 50% of the effect, while CO₂ contributes just 10%, per a 2016 study.¹⁰ Water vapor absorbs a broader spectrum of infrared radiation and is far more abundant, making up 1-4% of the atmosphere (10,000-40,000 ppm) compared to CO₂'s measly 0.042% (426 ppm).¹¹ A greenhouse traps heat physically--glass walls prevent convection, keeping warm air inside--but Earth's atmosphere is an open system where heat escapes to space via radiation, and convection redistributes it. Alarmists exaggerate CO₂'s role in this process, claiming it will cause catastrophic warming, while ignoring water vapor because it's natural, can't be regulated, and doesn't fit their narrative of human-driven climate doom.

So, when climate alarmists label CO₂ a "greenhouse gas," and they’re not technically lying--CO₂ does play a role in the greenhouse effect. However, their use of the term is a deliberate rhetorical device to exaggerate CO₂’s impact on global temperatures, while ignoring its vital role in plant growth and the dominant role of water vapor in the greenhouse effect. By framing CO₂ as a dangerous heat-trapping gas, they mislead the public into fearing a natural molecule, when in reality, commercial greenhouses use CO₂, just as I use it my own greenhouse, to boost plant growth and yields. Water vapor is the primary driver of the greenhouse effect, not CO₂. Anyone who has ever taken a shower will surely notice how quickly their bathroom heats up, and how that heat is being trapped, not by CO₂, but by the water vapor showers produce. This is also why temperature drop dramatically at night in dry climates like Phoenix, Arizona, but hardly drop at all at night in extremely humid climates like Houston, Texas. Water vapor traps heat more than any other cause.

In a literal sense, CO₂ is indeed a "greenhouse gas" because it is routinely pumped into greenhouses in order to accelerate plant growth, increase plant size, and boost yields, a practice that directly undermines the alarmist narrative of CO₂ as a harmful pollutant. In fact, commercial greenhouses, using carbon dioxide generators, often maintain CO₂ levels between 800 and 1,500 parts per million (ppm), far above the current atmospheric level of 426 ppm. In fact, a 2017 study in HortScience found that elevating CO₂ to 1,000 ppm in greenhouses increases tomato yields by 20% and speeds growth by 15%. This is because CO₂ is essential for photosynthesis, the process where plants convert CO₂, water, and sunlight into glucose and oxygen: 6CO₂ + 6H₂O + light → C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂. Higher CO₂ levels enhance this process, especially for C3 plants, which make up 85-90% of all plants, trees, and shrubs on Earth, including all cultivated food crops. A 2020 Global Change Biology review notes that CO₂ at 1,000 ppm also improves water-use efficiency by reducing stomatal openings, allowing plants to thrive with less water, and therefore, endure drought conditions better than they otherwise could. Greenhouses use CO₂ because it’s the "gas of life"--one of the four Building Blocks of Life, in fact, alongside sunlight, water, and oxygen. Plants need it to grow, and as per a per a 2015 Science study, if atmospheric CO₂ levels ever fell below 150 ppm in our atmosphere, photosynthesis would be halted entirely, quickly ending all life on the surface of our planet. This beneficial use of CO₂ in greenhouses is an important fact climate alarmists conveniently ignore.

CO₂ Follows Temp Increases, It Does Not Lead

Historical data obliterates the claim that CO₂ causes temperature increases. Ice core records from Vostok and EPICA Dome C, spanning 800,000 years, show temperature rises leading CO₂ increases by 200 to 1,000 years during glacial-interglacial transitions.¹² During the transition out of the Last Glacial Maximum (19,000 to 11,000 years ago), temperature rose first due to Milankovitch cycles--changes in Earth's orbit altering solar radiation--then oceans released CO₂ as they warmed, marginally amplifying the effect.¹³ This lag, averaging 600 years, proves CO₂ is a feedback, not a driver, in natural climate cycles. The scientific Principle of Causation demands that a cause precedes its effect, yet alarmists invert this logic, claiming CO₂ leads warming today. However, honest analysis of historical warming patterns clearly indicate that natural forces, not CO₂, initiate global climate shifts. This reversal of causality exposes the alarmist narrative as the fraud that it is, a fraud which is designed to guilt humanity into submission.

The Gas of Life: CO₂ as Nature's Gift

CO₂ is not a pollutant--it is the "gas of life," the foundation of Earth's ecosystems. Plants use CO₂ in photosynthesis to produce glucose and oxygen. Higher CO₂ levels turbocharge this process, especially for C3 plants like wheat, rice, and soybeans, which are the dominate global food crops. A 2016 study found that elevating CO₂ from 400 to 550 ppm boosts wheat yields by 9% and rice by 8% per 100 ppm increase.¹⁴ FACE experiments show soybean yields rise 13% at 550 ppm.¹⁵ CO₂ also enhances water-use efficiency by reducing stomatal openings, helping plants thrive in drought.¹⁶ Global greening, with a 5% increase in leaf area since 2000, is primarily due to CO₂ fertilization.¹⁷

Commercial greenhouses further prove CO₂'s benefits, pumping it in at 800-1,500 ppm to accelerate plant growth, increase size, and boost yields. A 2017 study found that 1,000 ppm CO₂ in greenhouses increases tomato yields by 20% and speeds growth by 15%.¹⁸ This practice directly contradicts the alarmist narrative of CO₂ as a dangerous "greenhouse gas." If CO₂ at 1,000 ppm--levels alarmists call catastrophic--creates thriving greenhouse crops, how can it be a threat to our planet? Alarmists avoid this truth because it exposes their scam: CO₂ is a nutrient--essential plant food, not a pollutant, which is absolutely essential for feeding the world.

Animals and humans benefit too. More plant growth means more oxygen for us to breathe--each CO₂ molecule absorbed releases an O₂ molecule, supporting respiration. Forests and phytoplankton, producing 50-70% of atmospheric oxygen, thrive with more CO₂, ensuring a stable 20.95% oxygen level.¹⁹ At 500-1,500 ppm, life flourishes: the Cretaceous saw 30-meter long, 80 ton dinosaurs like Argentinosaurus and sprawling forests with gigantic trees.²⁰ Alarmists demonize CO₂ as a devil gas, but it is the lifeblood of nature, and we need more of it to feed a growing population and sustain our planet's important ecosystems.

Earth's Natural Cycles: Warming and Cooling Are Normal

Earth's climate has always cycled through warming and cooling periods, driven by natural forces, not human CO₂ emissions. Over the past 800,000 years, ice core data shows glacial periods (ice ages) lasting 100,000 years, punctuated by brief inter glacial periods of only 10,000-20,000 years.²¹ These cycles are triggered by Milankovitch cycles--variations in Earth's orbit, tilt, and precession in space, all of which can alter the levels of solar radiation we receive.²² The Medieval Warm Period (950-1250 AD) saw temperatures 1-2°C warmer than they are today, with Vikings actually farming Greenland during that time.²³ The Roman Warm Period (250 BC-400 AD) and the Holocene Climate Optimum (9,000-5,000 years ago) were even warmer, with global temperatures 2-3°C above present levels.²⁴ These "Optimums" were, in fact, periods of human flourishing--agriculture boomed, civilizations like Mesopotamia and Egypt thrived--yet CO₂ levels were only 260-280 ppm, untouched by the burning of hydrocarbon fuels by humans.²⁵

Today's 1.1°C warming since 1850 is modest compared to these natural peaks, and can be accounted for by the natural progression out of the Little Ice Age, yet alarmists attribute it entirely to CO₂, pointing to melting glaciers, and completely ignoring historical precedent. The Little Ice Age, which lasted from 1300 CE to 1850 CE, saw temperatures drop 1-2°C worldwide due to solar minima, with no CO₂ influence.²⁶ Earth's climate oscillates naturally--warming periods are not anomalies but blessings, and CO₂ plays only a minor and insignificant role in these cycles.

The Real Agenda: Globalist Control

The alarmist CO₂ narrative is not about science--it is about political power. The Club of Rome, a Globalist think tank of elites, founded in 1968, set the stage for this hoax. Its 1991 report admitted: “In searching for a common enemy… we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming… would fit the bill… The real enemy then is humanity itself.”³³ This was no prediction--it was a strategy to unite the world against a fabricated foe, paving the way for a one-world technocratic government. The Club's 1972 Limits to Growth predicted global collapse by the 2000s due to resource depletion and pollution, yet oil production hit 97 million barrels per day in 2023, and food availability rose 30% per capita since 1961.³⁴ Their models, running on 1972's IBM 360 with 0.1 MIPS, oversimplified a chaotic climate system, as modern supercomputers still struggle with cloud and aerosol uncertainties.³⁵

Alarmists employ a manipulative tactic against humanity known as the Hegelian Dialectic. What's that, you ask? The Hegelian Dialectic is a social engineering technique that has been used by the ruling class to engineer societies for hundreds of years. It has three steps: First, you create a PROBLEM, or claim that a problem exists, where one actually doesn't. Then, in the second step, you fan the flames of REACTION to this problem by using the sock puppet media outlets and academic institutions that you own and/or control in order to fear-monger and elevate the issue to the point where the public is demanding a solution. In the third step, you offer the public a SOLUTION to the problem--your solution; the one you already cooked-up (global technocracy) way before you began this process, and which, if finally implemented, only you and/or your agenda will benefit from.

First, they create the problem: a fabricated climate crisis, claiming CO₂ will cause catastrophic warming, despite evidence showing CO₂ follows temperature rises and contributes minimally to the greenhouse effect compared to water vapor.³⁶ Nevertheless, Leftist media outlets artificially amplify this climate scam with images of melting ice caps and flooded cities, and images of polar bears allegedly facing extinction, even though populations are stable at 26,000-58,000. Even sea level rise which the mainstream (FCC-licensed) media constantly point to as something to fear is quite manageable at only 3.2 mm per year.³⁷ The Leftist media also portrays every major weather event--flooding, tornados, hurricanes, as proof of man made climate change now, even though there are fewer severe weather events now than there ever were in the past.

Second, they orchestrate the reaction: public fear, fueled by propaganda like Al Gore's 2006 An Inconvenient Truth, a now discredited book, which preached CO₂ as a doomsday gas, despite temperatures stabilizing between 1999 to 2014, even as CO₂ rose.³⁸ Schools indoctrinate children--59% of youth aged 16-25 are now "very worried" about climate change--while protests like Extinction Rebellion, funded by globalist NGOs, demand action.³⁹

Third, they offer the solution: centralized control through carbon taxes, net-zero targets, and global regulations, as seen in the UN's 2018 Global Compact on Migration, the Paris Agreement, and the World Economic Forum's "Great Reset," all globalist agendas that are eroding national sovereignty of every nation on Earth, and herding humanity, like cattle, into the technocratic feedlot, which will be governed by "experts" rather than the People, a system they call their New World Order.⁴⁰

The alarmists, backed by globalist elites like the Rothschilds and Rockefellers, who funded the creation of the United Nations (UN) post-World War II, just like they did the League of Nations after World War I, push this narrative in order to dissolve national sovereignty worldwide. Who needs these pesky nations, which stand in the way of their megalomaniacal, Neo-Feudalistic visions. The UN's 2018 Global Compact on Migration and IPCC reports advocate centralized control--carbon taxes, offsets, and regulations--to "save" the planet, eroding individual freedoms. Al Gore--one of the first promoters of the Carbon Credit scam, published a 2006 book entitled An Inconvenient Truth, which preached CO₂ as a doomsday gas, yet temperatures stabilized between 1999 to 2014 (15 years) despite rising CO₂, exposing his "global warming" climate scam.⁴¹ That's when they started using the term "climate change" instead, even though climate has always been a part of life on Earth. There is no such thing as a static climate. The real goal of the central banking families, armed with their limitless amounts of fiat money, which they alone are permitted to create, are the real rulers of this broken and aching world. What they want is a borderless, technocratic dystopia, not climate salvation, and they are using a fabricated crisis in order to justify control over mankind.

We Need More CO₂, Not Less

Life thrives at 500-1,500 ppm CO₂, not today's paltry 426 ppm. The Cretaceous saw CO₂ at 1,000 ppm, supporting huge dinosaurs and sprawling forests.⁴² Modern experiments show wheat yields rise 9% per 100 ppm CO₂ increase, critical for feeding 8 billion people.⁴³ Plants produce more oxygen at higher CO₂, supporting animal and human respiration.⁴⁴ At levels under 300 ppm, plant growth slows dangerously. When it gets below 150 ppm, life on the surface of Earth ends.⁴⁵ We are perilously close to that threshold, folks. Yet, alarmists demand less CO₂, a policy that is anti-life.

Warming periods are humanity's golden ages. The Holocene Optimum saw agriculture bloom and civilizations rise when global temperatures were 2-3°C above today's average.⁴⁶ In fact, today's 1.1°C warming is a boon to humanity. That means longer growing seasons, fewer cold-related deaths (there are more than 500,000 annually), and global greening.⁴⁷ We actually need CO₂ at levels that are above 1,000 ppm in order to restore Earth's ecosystems to their historical peak, not the starvation levels that anti-life climate alarmists are demanding.

Reject the Alarmist Lie

The climate alarmists' claim that CO₂ drives global warming, or even significant climate change, is a provable falsehood, a left-wing, globalist ploy to control humanity. CO₂ is at historic lows, its climate impact is negligible, and it follows temperature rises, as ice core data proves. It is the gas of life, fueling plants, animals, and humans, with optimal levels at 500-1,500 ppm--levels greenhouses use to thrive, not the 420 ppm we have now, a fact alarmists hide to maintain their fear-driven narrative. Water vapor, not CO₂, dominates the greenhouse effect, yet alarmists focus on CO₂ to blame humanity and push global control by the global elite through [undemocratic] global governance. Earth's natural warming-cooling cycles, not CO₂, drive Earth's climate, and past Optimums--much warmer than today--saw humanity thrive. The climate alarmist's agenda, is rooted in the Club of Rome's manipulative vision and executed through the Hegelian Dialectic (problem-reaction-solution), seeks a technocratic one-world government, not environmental salvation. We must reject this lie and put more of the Gas of Life into our planet's atmosphere in order to usher in a new era of abundance. The planet does not need saving. The planet is doing fine. It's humanity that needs saving from the the global elite, and the mother of all scams--the Climate Scam.
