Humanity has reached a tipping point of developing technology so profound that it can destroy the human race; yet this rise of "science" has in no way been matched by a rise in consciousness or ethics. Today, science operates with total disregard for the future of life on Earth, and it scoffs at the idea of balancing scientific "progress" with caution, ethics or reasonable safeguards.
Good examples of this scientific madness includes, but is not limited to, the proliferation of Artificial Intelligence ("AI") which has, for the most part, been weaponized against the best interests of humanity; the Large Hadron Collider (the "LHC") which may have already damaged the Earth permanently; Geoengineering (weather modification, Stratospheric Aerosol Injection, ionospheric heating, etc.), unbridled biological experiments like the genetic modification of foods, animals and microbial organisms; human cloning and human embryo modification, and most concerning of all, the ongoing development of man-made biological warfare agents like HIV, Ebola, Swine Flu, SARS, H1N1, Bird Flu, Lyme Disease, SARS-CoV-2, and the new one (Disease X), which is being cooked up right now in one or more of the hundreds of unlawful Gain-of-Function (GoF) biolabs that the U.S. government has operating throughout the world.
All of these abominations have been unleashed onto humanity by an unelected, Technocratic elite who couldn't care less what We the People think about it, or what the consequences for us or our posterity might be. I certainly don't remember voting to authorize any of these programs. Nor do I recall there ever being any meaningful public discussion about any of these scientific programs within the chambers of Congress, nor any regulatory limits ever being placed on the use of any of these dangerous technologies.
Don't you think there ought to be, as I do?
