The Post WWII Marxist Strategy Worked
by Mike Baker
Open borders are the Left's answer to America's rejection of Socialism after WWII. Marxists suffered a humiliating intellectual defeat during the post-war era and were badly in need of new voters. Americans peeked over the Iron curtain and gasped in horror at the mountain of dead bodies that were piled up across Socialist Europe and Asia. Then, for at least the next 30 years of American history, Communism became a bad word.

So, Marxist academics muttered a collective "whoops" and retreated from the battlefield of ideas. However, they didn't surrender. What they did instead was go to work on a new scheme for pushing Fabian style Socialism on Americans by attacking our culture and diluting it with Leftists who would be brought here from elsewhere. They figured that, If they couldn't convince Americans to favor Socialism, they would just import more Socialists.

Enter LBJ's Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, a blatantly unconstitutional law which not only severely limited immigration from Western Europe, it opened America's front door to every medieval backwater on Earth--to people from countries that were in every case either Socialist or outright Communist.

The Marxist revolutionaries were obviously successful, because now, almost 60 years later, our culture has been completely inverted, and nearly one third of the people who are currently living in this country have no connection whatsoever to the Founding Generation or even any meaningful understanding [or appreciation] of the principles of individual human liberty and limited constitutional government that the heroes of the American Revolution championed for us in 1776, as did 90% of the people who made up America's population prior to 1965.
