Every Totalitarian movement that seeks to enslave a country needs a scapegoat which it can blame for the nation's troubles, and use as a justification of its own demands for dictatorial powers. In the USSR, the scapegoat was the bourgeoisie; in Nazi Germany, it was the Jews; in Cambodia, it was anyone who could read or write; in America, it's the Posterity of the Founding Generation who are still clinging to their Bible, their guns, or to any other traditional American value.
