We Must Drain The Swamp Locally
by Mike Baker
Who is willing to put it all on the line to save this nation? Who among us is willing to go to jail? Who is willing to be injured, or killed, should we attend a protest or engage in civil disobedience? Who hopes someone else will do the heavy lifting because we think others can do it easier than we can, or because we still don't grasp that every single one of us must do his part, whatever that part may be? How many of us plan to do nothing because we're cynical, hopeless, and tired? And who thinks that at the last minute some politician will save the day? Not me!

Patriotic Americans should remember that it is always darkest before the dawn, and that God helps those who help themselves. The national crisis facing our country will not be overcome by Congress, the Judiciary, or by a new President. Top-down change is just not possible. The people within these federal institutions have either been consciously complicitous in this crisis, or they've been hopelessly compromised. Instead, America must begin the Herculean effort of cleaning her political stables at the local level--from the bottom up, with ordinary citizens like you and I carrying the buckets and wielding the shovels.
