Though Communists claim to be "anti-racist," racism in many Communist countries is actually very common. Look at China's [race-based] repression of Uighurs for example. What's going on there is nothing less than genocide on a scale rivaling the Nazis. In fact, the word "racism" itself was invented by the Communist revolutionary, Leon Trotsky, as a term to be used by him and his comrades to intimidate and silence anyone who they saw as blocking their takeover of Russia. He also used this term in in his 1917 book "History of the Russian Revolution" in order to give the impression that the Eastern Slavs of Russia were being selfish for doing nothing more than wanting to preserve their unique cultural and ethnic identity in the face of the ethnic cleansing policies of the USSR.
